Role Description

The Designer will play a key role in supporting the design and production process throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities & Core Competencies

Design Support:

  • Provide general assistance to project teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Documentation & Presentation Support:

  • Help prepare design documents and presentation materials, including visual assets such as drawings and renderings.

  • Assist in developing and organizing project documents, plans, and related materials for internal and external use.

  • Support internal presentations and progress reviews under the guidance of the project manager.

Construction Administration:

  • Participate in site visits, review project materials, and assist in processing construction-related documentation. Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout construction phases.

Design Coordination:

  • Serve as a communication link between various consultants and team members to help maintain alignment and consistency across design efforts.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • 1-5 years of experience in architectural design

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

  • Comfortable using standard design and documentation tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam

  • Ability to support multiple projects in varying stages.

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication, with confidence engaging with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal team members.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, flexible, and interested in contributing to a positive studio environment and ongoing learning.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
