Description:

Job Title: Sr. Compliance Analyst

Location: 2 Folsom San Francisco CA (94105)

Work set-up: 100% On-site

Duration: 06-month contract (with possible extension or conversion)

Pay Rate: $ 54.68/hr. on W2

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision.

The Mission

The Sr. Compliance Analyst is the "data conscience " of our IT ecosystem. You won't just be checking boxes; you will be architecting the visibility engine that keeps our enterprise secure, patched, and optimized. As part of the Office of IT Hygiene, you will transform raw compliance data into a narrative that compels action, ensuring our infrastructure remains resilient and our governance frameworks stay ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect Visibility: Design and scale automated, durable reporting ecosystems that measure the "heartbeat " of IT hygiene—tracking adoption, maturity, and ROI.
  • Compliance Storytelling: Don't just deliver data; deliver insights. Investigate the "why " behind the numbers, identifying why certain teams excel while others lag.
  • Risk Detection: Proactively identify performance drift and emerging compliance trends before they become audit failures.
  • Governance Advocacy: Act as a strategic advisor to IT and business leaders, translating complex policy requirements into actionable operational goals.
  • Process Evolution: Audit the auditors. You will evaluate our existing hygiene policies and recommend "v2.0 " improvements to ensure they remain frictionless and effective.
  • Cross-Functional Bridge: Align with Risk, Audit, and Security teams to ensure a unified "single source of truth " for IT health across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Expertise: 6–10 years of experience in IT Compliance, Governance, or IT Operations Analytics.
  • Technical Toolbelt: Advanced proficiency in Power BI ServiceNow Performance Analytics, or Tableau. You should be comfortable manipulating large datasets and automating reporting workflows.
  • Analytical Rigor: A track record of turning messy, disparate data into clean, executive-ready visualizations.
  • Framework Fluency: Practical understanding of ITIL COBIT, or NIST frameworks.
  • Communication: The ability to challenge senior leadership with data-backed findings while maintaining a collaborative, "problem-solver " reputation.

What Success Looks Like

"Within the first 90 days, you will have audited our current reporting suite, identified three critical 'blind spots' in our hygiene metrics, and established a monthly cadence for high-impact performance reviews with key domain owners. "
