As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping our production and manufacturing equipment running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair production equipment as needed, utilizing your troubleshooting skills.
  • Perform breakdown analysis and address mechanical malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Implement upgrades to production lines with new technology as required.
  • Collaborate with outside contractors on maintenance projects.
  • Assist in package changeovers by changing production lines.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
  • Work independently with limited supervision and document all repair tasks and schedules.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Pass a technical assessment on job-critical maintenance areas.
  • Experience with mechanical systems such as gearboxes, motors, and seals.
  • Ability to read and understand product manuals for effective repairs.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with refrigeration and ammonia systems.
  • Proficiency in working with conveyors, sensors, and motor controls.
  • Understand hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems.
  • Experience with PLC systems and electronic components.
  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance within team setting.

This position may require work in environments with heat, noise, and chemicals, as well as occasional weekend or holiday shifts.
