DescriptionHampton Management Associates Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Tech to join our team at an apartment building in San Leandro. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $28 to $30 per hour. Must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm. **Job Overview:**As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of the apartment building. You will handle repairs, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents.**Responsibilities:**- Conduct routine inspections of the building and grounds- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory- Keep common areas clean and organized- Assist with snow removal and landscaping duties as needed**Requirements:**- 2 years Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and customer service skills- High school diploma or equivalent-Bi-lingual preferred (English/Spanish) At Hampton Management Associates Inc., we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees.
