Job Description

• The Senior Professional Project Management role is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of work items, change orders, and defect resolutions across multiple MMIS teams, ensuring alignment with contractual KPIs and SLAs.
• This position strengthensthe quality and execution of key projects by driving innovative, purpose-built technology solutions for clients.
• The role involves managing medium-sized project teams, contributing directly to project execution, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across all phases of the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of work items, change orders, and defect resolutions across multiple MMIS teams.
• Oversee medium-sized project management teams and manage smaller components of larger technology programs.
• Contribute directly to projects while assisting in staffing and providing direction and deadlines to assigned team members.
• Interface with client, company, and project leadership to measure and communicate project metrics and recommend program improvements.
• Drive quality deliverables across all phases of the program by defining objectives, schedules, and program plans.
• Identify and mitigate risks through proactive status reporting and project updates.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment across business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Support internal leadership responsibilities, including leadership coverage and regular coordination meetings.

Experience

• Six or more years of experience managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through the full project management lifecycle.
• At least three years of experience in Medicaid and Medicare projects preferred.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end delivery of MMIS projects, including timeline coordination, cross-functional dependency management, and defect resolution.
• Experience managing software development projects and working with cloud technologies, including AWS or cloud migration initiatives.
• Experience in IT application development and infrastructure solution integration.
• Experience delivering projects using project management practices and tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint or Teams.
• Experience in client-facing roles and adapting to client processes while collaborating with client project managers.

Qualification And Education

• Project Management Professional certification preferred.
