Interim Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager
Our client, a fast?growing fintech software company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to support a high?priority revenue accounting and audit?readiness project.

The position is fully remote and requires someone who thrives in a fast?paced, autonomous environment. This engagement has an expected duration of 2 months.

Responsibilities:

• Review, organize, and reconcile a high volume of customer contracts across multiple finance and billing systems.
• Validate GAAP revenue recognition and ensure completeness and accuracy of historical revenue documentation.
• Identify and correct discrepancies between contract terms and system data, including billing gaps or inconsistencies.
• Prepare organized, audit?ready documentation packages to support internal and investor diligence.
• Work extensively in Excel to consolidate, analyze, and reconcile large contract datasets.
• Collaborate with finance leadership while independently driving day?to?day execution.
• Contribute to financial cleanup efforts to ensure revenue systems and documentation meet audit and fundraising standards.

Requirements:

• Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager–level experience.
• Strong background in GAAP revenue accounting and contract?based revenue workflows.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Salesforce, Stripe, and Excel.
• Experience supporting audit preparation, financial cleanups, or diligence processes.
• Ability to self?manage and execute work with minimal direction in a remote environment.
