About Hugspace

Hugspace.org is a nonprofit organization that provides a digital warmline – a peer-led, multilingual space for free, stigma-free emotional support. Our trained volunteers offer active listening and real-time emotional presence for individuals navigating stress, loneliness, displacement, or trauma. We center empathy, accessibility, and cultural relevance – especially for immigrants, refugees, and trauma-exposed communities.

What You'll Do:

  • Zoom Phone
  • Administration: Manage Zoom Phone users, assign numbers, configure outbound caller ID (800), set up call recording, and manage the IVR system
  • SMS Template Configuration: Create and manage multi-language SMS templates within the Zoom Phone admin portal
  • SMS Workflow Implementation: Integrate SMS into navigator procedures and potentially automate client reminders and post-session feedback using the Power Pack features
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot common issues related to Zoom Phone functionality, user access, and extensions
  • Scheduling Software
  • Software Administration: Add/edit user profiles, manage language-specific services, set up working hours and time-off, and configure notifications

Google Calendar Integration: Assist navigators with connecting their Google Calendars to Setmore, as this is a critical step that operators must perform themselves

Client Management: Use the "Block Customer" feature to manage problematic clients

Data Handling: Export booking data for reporting or integration purposes

What You'll Need:

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Telephony & SMS Management (Zoom Phone Power Pack)
  • Familiarity with Scheduling System Management (Setmore)
  • Self-motivation and problem-solving skills

We'll Provide

    • Fully remote, flexible schedule to fit your availability
    • Hands-on experience in community engagement and digital mental health support
    • Access to internal resources, training, and self-development tools
    • Mentorship and direct support from Hugspace leadership
    • Networking opportunities within the nonprofit, health, and advocacy sectors
    • Letter of recommendation upon successful completion
    • Meaningful opportunity to contribute to emotional safety, peer care, and collective healing
