As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will ensure the safety of our premises and personnel by:

• Vigilantly patrolling the property to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
• Effectively monitoring surveillance equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security protocols are met.
• Controlling access and permitting entry as needed.
• Alerting authorities by sounding alarms in emergency situations.
• Preventing loss and damage by reporting irregularities and educating violators on policies and procedures.
• Restraining trespassers when necessary to maintain order.
• Directing traffic and ensuring smooth movement of vehicles on property.
• Documenting daily activities and incidents by completing detailed reports which include observations, occurrences, and interviews.
• Maintaining the environment by managing building and equipment controls.
• Complying with legal requirements to uphold the organization's stability and reputation.
• Ensuring proper operation of security equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and requesting repairs as needed.
• Contributing to a cohesive team by accomplishing related tasks as necessary.
