As a vital part of our team, the Project Assistant Manager (PAM) will operate under the direction of the Project Manager and with guidance from the Operations Manager. We are looking for a dedicated individual who values urgency and precision in delivering high-quality results. The PAM will play a key role in overseeing project administration and will be pivotal in supervising interns and Project Engineers in their tasks. Additionally, the PAM may participate in marketing our company's capabilities to potential clients and engage in various business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all Project Engineer responsibilities effectively.
• Maintain cost control ledgers and prepare job cost statements.
• Prepare billing and expedite payment processes.
• Estimate, prepare, and negotiate change orders.
• Create subcontract change orders.
• Write and oversee project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Support the training and supervision of interns, Project Engineers, and clerical staff.
• Manage and regularly publish the project schedule in collaboration with the Corporate Scheduler.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience as a Project Engineer, Intern, or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational capabilities.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
