Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of citizens by actively preventing crime, enforcing laws, and apprehending suspects in your vicinity.
• Educate the community on relevant federal, state, and local laws to promote public safety; mediate disputes effectively; and patrol designated areas.
• Respond to emergencies and calls for assistance, observing and documenting violations for appropriate action and making necessary arrests.
• Conduct thorough investigations by collecting evidence, interviewing victims and witnesses, and conducting interviews with suspects.
• Document all observations and actions meticulously through reports and communications.
• Testify as needed in court to report findings and observations.
• Serve legal documents and fulfill court orders to uphold justice.
• Maintain traffic safety by monitoring conditions, directing traffic, and investigating accidents while reporting hazards.
• Assist victims in distress by providing rescue services and coordinating with medical professionals when necessary.
• Support team operations by adhering to departmental policies and suggesting improvements as required.
• Ensure the effective operation of departmental equipment through careful usage, maintenance, and reporting any malfunctions or required repairs.
• Stay informed on changes in laws and best practices by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and enhance team performance.
