• Watching for signals and monitoring surrounding traffic at crossings to uphold safety standards.
• Executing emergency procedures effectively and calmly when required.
• Managing vehicle speed and stop durations to maintain adherence to transit schedules.
• Communicating promptly with supervisors and dispatchers about delays, technical issues, and emergencies via radio.
• Making clear announcements to passengers regarding routes, upcoming stops, or schedules.
• Accurately completing shift summaries and incident reports to maintain operational integrity.
• Providing exceptional customer service by welcoming passengers and addressing inquiries related to fares, schedules, transfers, and routes.
• Actively participating in safety meetings to enhance both your performance and the safety of passengers.
• Collecting fares and issuing change and transfers while ensuring precise financial documentation.
