Description:

Our client, an industry leader in automotive manufacturing operations, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Logistics Associate to join their team. As a Manufacturing Logistics Associate, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting warehouse and production activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Logistics Associate

Location: Hayward, CA

Pay Range: $32-33 hourly

Shift: Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

  • Manage all warehouse material flow processes to and from the dock to production and shipping areas using various transport methods.
  • Utilize systems technology to input, retrieve inventory data, and process material movements efficiently throughout the warehouse.
  • Assess material needs for production areas during shifts and pull materials using information systems to support the production schedule.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through physical and systemic audits, ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Support warehouse safety standards, maintain a clean work environment through 5S practices, and demonstrate initiative to drive operational results.
What's Needed?
  • High School Degree or GED with 6-8 years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to operate heavy warehouse equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.
