Security Guard

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively, access control, and theft prevention.

Shifts: Friday - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Tuesday - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Armed Security Guard Qualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card
• Current with BSIS Compliance: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate, 32-hour continuing education certificates
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
