Finance Manager

Cocokind is looking for a Finance Manager to help guide our next stage of growth through financial planning, analysis, and insights. In this role, you will support strategic decision-making across the organization through financial modeling and ad hoc analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. You will own and maintain our financial model and key performance metrics, evaluate financial trends to identify opportunities and risks, and partner closely with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to support key business decisions.

This role reports to Carol Chan, the SVP of Finance & Operations, and requires a hands-on, analytical approach, including building tools and processes to deliver data-driven insights. This role is hybrid, requiring two days per week in our San Francisco office.

What You'll Do

• Own the financial planning, modeling, and forecasting across the organization in partnership with management and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain the company's financial model, including forecasts for revenue and cost drivers and regular updates to key business metrics.
• Execute ad hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and business case development to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present financial analyses and insightful business reporting to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Help define, track, and interpret KPIs to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Track company-wide and team-specific financial trends to identify opportunities and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
• Roll up your sleeves to manually pull and compile data where needed, while building processes and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability over time.
• Partner with all departments to organize and improve business operational and financial data, reporting, and data integrity.
• Participate in projects to improve financial planning processes, analytics, systems, and tools.

Who You Are

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, investment management, management consulting, or strategic finance roles.
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience supporting or analyzing an omnichannel consumer business; beauty, retail, or CPG experience preferred.
• Proven experience building and owning financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Comfortable working with large, complex data sets and imperfect inputs to generate clear, decision-ready financial insights; experience with SQL, BI tools, or data automation is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial audiences.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort partnering with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong bias toward action.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and core accounting principles.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with an interest in growing into broader responsibilities over time.
