We are thrilled to announce openings for Patient Support Specialists. This is a full-time remote position offering competitive pay of $14 per hour.

As part of our Contact Center Team, you'll engage in valuable one-on-one interactions with patients across the United States. Your key responsibilities will include facilitating phone conversations with patients, accurately documenting interactions, and collaborating effectively with both patients and healthcare providers to optimize care.

  • Proficiency in computer systems and web-based applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly and professionally answer phone calls
  • Accurately collect and enter demographic information into electronic medical records
  • Provide answers and information to ensure a positive patient experience
  • Contribute to enhancements in call flow processes and communication services
  • Meet and exceed call volume standards
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and Sequence Health policies
  • Direct calls to appropriate departments as necessary
  • Use sound judgment in managing calls, especially with distressed patients
  • Know when to escalate calls to healthcare providers or managers
  • Make reminder calls and reschedule appointments as needed
  • Manage multiple clients in a dynamic environment
  • Handle a high volume of phone calls, ensuring a minimum of 6 hours of call time per shift
  • Assist with callbacks and additional projects as call volume allows
  • Perform any other duties that align with our mission and values

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, sales, or customer service, preferably in a contact center
  • Experience in a call center environment is preferred
  • Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous
  • Familiarity with medical scheduling is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Able to excel in a high-activity call center environment
  • Strong technical skills with software applications and phone systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—proactive and collaborative
