Responsibilities:

• Anchor newscasts on linear TV and streaming platforms
• Write original copy and edit scripts
• Report on local stories
• Create engaging social media content

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a top 50 market
• Excellent writing, news judgment, and ethical decision-making skills
• Ability to shoot video and edit stories for both linear and digital platforms
• Proficient with handheld prosumer/consumer cameras and non-linear editing
• Superior on-camera presence

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual skills are advantageous
• Familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area

The hiring range for this position is $90,948 to $210,000 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled may vary based on business needs. Salary will consider internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses or long-term incentive units, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
