We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITIES STARTING IMMEDIATELY, and looking to hire someone with daytime availability.

We currently have 146 Hours available!

Here are the current schedules available:

Clients in San Mateo & Daly City:

• 42 Hours - Male in San Mateo: Daily 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (DRIVING REQUIRED)
• 13 Hours - Couple in Daly City: Saturdays & Sundays 3:30 pm - 10:00 pm
• 6 Hours - Couple in Daly City: Wednesdays & Thursdays 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Clients in San Francisco:

• 32 Hours - Female in San Francisco: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm + Saturdays 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• 20 Hours - Male in San Francisco: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
• 4 Hours - Female in San Francisco: Fridays 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• 9 Hours - Female in San Francisco: Wednesdays 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
• 12 Hours - Female in San Francisco: Sundays 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Clients in Oakland:

• 8 Hours - Male in Oakland: Wednesdays 9:30 am - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
