As an advocate for guest experiences, you will welcome guests, express gratitude, and strive to exceed their service expectations by focusing on personalized engagement, loyalty enrollment, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. You will promote both in-store and digital solutions, guiding guests on how to get the most out of these offerings, ultimately fostering guest loyalty.
As a Customer Experience Advocate, your role will help you develop skills in:

Promoting various store benefits and services.
A typical day may include the following responsibilities:
Demonstrating a strong service culture that emphasizes the importance of guest experiences.
Creating a warm and welcoming environment by greeting guests while performing daily tasks.
Assisting guests with their specific needs in a friendly and engaging manner.
Informing guests about current promotions, store activities, and events.
Being knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to effectively address guest inquiries.
Expressing gratitude to guests and affirming their choice to shop with us.
Promoting Target's loyalty programs, assisting guests with enrollment as needed.
Efficiently scanning and bagging items while adhering to safety standards and best practices.
Minimizing guest wait times whilst maintaining a high level of service and accuracy.
Educating guests on the Target App features, including Wallet.
Familiarizing guests with Order Pick-Up and Drive Up services and guiding them on how to use these features.
Handling returns and following protocols for guest assistance and satisfaction.
Keeping your work area clean and organized by gathering and removing unpurchased items.
Restocking supplies while remaining available to assist guests.
Upholding the values of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Working safely and reporting any hazards promptly.
Supporting various guest services like order pick-up and maintaining compliance with relevant laws.
Performing other duties as needed based on business requirements.

ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS:
Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions.
Efficiently scan, handle, and move merchandise, lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
Reliable attendance with availability for a flexible work schedule.
Mobility for the duration of scheduled shifts.
Ability to work in varying temperatures while performing specific duties.
