Driver Helper

The Driver Helper position involves pulling and stocking customer boxes or items, scanning and barcoding incoming items, processing work orders, and handling rush deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull and stock customer boxes or items efficiently.
  • Scan and barcode incoming boxes and items to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
  • Process work orders with attention to detail.
  • Handle rush deliveries with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be 21 and have a valid DL.

Essential Skills:

  • Warehouse experience, including order pulling and order picking.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and heavy physical work in a fast-paced environment.
  • General labor skills, including order picking and handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Basic reading and writing skills.
  • Basic understanding of PC operations.

Work Environment:

Work in a warehouse setting with a team of eight individuals, focusing on heavy order pulling and labor-intensive tasks throughout the day. While tasks are generally completed individually, teamwork is essential. There is potential for transitioning into a driver role if interested.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
