Investment Funds Associate Attorney

A Top Ranked National law firm with a fast-growing investment funds practice is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate attorney with 3+ years of experience to join a strategically important team focusedon investment management and fund formation in their bustling LA Metro offices.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary platform that advises sophisticated fund sponsors across a wide range of alternative investment strategies. The practice is expanding rapidly and presents meaningful long-term growth for attorneys who want hands-on responsibility and client exposure.

Practice Scope

The team advises sponsors and managers of:

• Private equity and private credit funds
• Hedge funds and real estate funds
• Hybrid and other alternative investment vehicles

There is also opportunity to gain experience with retail alternative products, including regulated fund structures, for candidates interested in expanding their technical depth.

The Opportunity

Attorneys in this role will:

• Work on fund formation and investment management matters
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate, tax, and regulatory disciplines
• Engage directly with fund sponsors and investment professionals
• Build long-term client relationships within a growing practice

This position is ideal for an attorney with a strong technical foundation who also enjoys client interaction and practice growth, and who wants to be part of a team where the investment funds group is a core strategic priority.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of experience in investment management and fund formation
• Experience advising private funds or alternative investment managers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in client-facing work
• CA Bar required
