The expected base rate for this role is between $24 and $35.

Join our team as a Product Sales Support Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our sales efforts. Your ability to manage inquiries and provide timely information will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary contact for internal sales inquiries related to product specifications, availability, scheduling, and substitutions.
2. Quickly resolve customer and sales questions through various communication channels (phone, email, text) or escalate as necessary.
3. Develop expertise in US Foods systems and tools to provide accurate and swift answers to inquiries, including Prism, SmartDock, and PIM/EPS.
4. Implement the sample policy to secure product samples for customers and Territory Managers when needed.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on product availability, delivery schedules, broker contacts, and specifications.
6. Effectively prioritize requests based on urgency and customer needs.
7. Establish strong relationships with brokers and vendors to address sales inquiries independently.
8. Acquire product category knowledge to recommend appropriate substitute products when required.

Qualifications:

• Education/Training: College degree or equivalent experience in distribution or food service supply chain is required.
• Related Experience: Minimum 2 years in purchasing, merchandising, sales, or customer service; experience in foodservice distribution is preferred. Previous experience with US Foods and PRISM is a plus.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Highly organized, analytical, and possess strong written and oral communication skills. Customer service-oriented with a solution-focused attitude.
