This is a Temporary Position.
To ensure the cafeteria is well-maintained, cleaned, and stocked at all times, ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and freshness of all food items.
Control quality and consistency of all food served.
Insure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
Insure all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on timely basis.
Assist in controlling food cost.
Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
Maintain cleanliness of cafeteria at all times.
Insure food is refreshed and well-presented.
Insure the cafeteria is well-stocked with eating utensils, condiments, and other supplies.
Must know how to use essential kitchen equipment.
Must have good communication skills, ability to stand and walk for 8 hours a day, a flexible schedule, the ability to learn food handling, sanitation, storage techniques.
Must be engaging and friendly and have customer service skills.
Hotel experience preferred.
Food handler certification required upon hire.

Pay Scale: $35.78/hour
