  • Fitness goal-setting and habit-building (SMART goals, tracking progress, reflection)
  • Teamwork and sportsmanship (encouragement, respectful competition, collaboration)
  • Mind-body wellness connections (breathing, focus, simple stress-management movement routines)
  • Injury prevention basics (form cues, safe space awareness, pacing and rest)
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a 10-session fitness course with clear objectives and structured lesson plans
  • Maintain safety-first routines, including appropriate warm-ups, cool-downs, and clear movement expectations
  • Differentiate activities to support varied fitness levels, confidence, and mobility needs
  • Establish positive group management and inclusive participation norms
  • Communicate professionally with site staff and Concorde program contacts regarding attendance and session completion tracking
  • Adapt pacing and activities based on space, equipment availability, and student readiness while maintaining intended outcomes
Qualifications (Required)
  • Minimum of 60 college credits (or Associate degree in progress/completed)
  • Experience leading group fitness, physical activity programming, coaching, or youth wellness activities
  • Experience working with school-age students in structured settings (school, after-school, camps, youth programs)
  • Strong facilitation skills, clear communication, and comfort managing active groups safely
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional; able to follow school policies and program boundaries
