The Control Room Operator (First Shift) is responsible for monitoring and operating control systems and equipment in a central control room setting to ensure smooth and safe operation of all plant, facility, or system processes during overnight hours. This role requires strong attention to detail, quick decision-making, and effective communication to address any alarms, irregularities, or system failures that may arise during the shift. Must be able to work any shift: including nights, weekends and holidays. Monitor real-time data and control system interfaces (e.g., SCADA, DCS, CCTV, HMI) for any anomalies or alerts. Operate and adjust equipment remotely to maintain optimal performance and safety. Respond promptly to system alarms or alerts, initiating troubleshooting or emergency protocols as needed.
