Position Title: Smallwares Stock Associate

Position Summary:

The Smallwares Stock Associate plays a vital role in maintaining the availability and organization of products for our customers. This position involves stocking shelves, ensuring cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. You will assist customers with their needs efficiently and courteously, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Essential Functions:

1. Stock products in the department as directed by the Department Manager.
2. Pack out products as required by the Department Manager.
3. Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service upon customer entry into the department.
4. Assist customers with loading and unloading products as necessary.
5. Help customers locate products and provide detailed information when required.
6. Maintain shelf tags accurately.
7. Participate in cycle counts when needed.
8. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.

1. Perform additional work-related duties as required and assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• Basic math skills.

• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours at a time.

Work Environment:

• Work is generally performed in a moderate temperature environment.
• Position requires standing/walking for extended periods (up to 4 hours without a break).
• This role involves physical labor; must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb and descend up to 15 steps on a step ladder safely while carrying products.
• Posture tolerance includes reaching above shoulder level, twisting/turning head, bending over/stooping, and kneeling/squatting.
• Be aware of industrial vehicles (forklifts, HiLo, electric pallet jacks) moving materials throughout the warehouse.
