As a pivotal part of our team, you will support the efficient and effective operations of our Pet Care Center. You will assist with stocking shelves, maintaining merchandise, operating the cash register, and ensuring a delightful shopping experience for each of our guests. A passion for animal welfare and teamwork will help you thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize inventory throughout the Pet Care Center.
• Ensure merchandise is well-stocked, attractively priced, and displayed appropriately for guests.
• Process register transactions efficiently to enhance the guest experience.
• Actively engage with guests, applying our selling model to assist with their needs.
• Show strong interest in animal welfare and adhere to animal care procedures to promote pet health.
• Complete training programs to stay knowledgeable about your role.
• Foster a positive culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• Follow all operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries and direct them to the Leader on Duty when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in mathematics and strong communication skills are required.
• Exhibit a professional demeanor and a genuine interest in animal care.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

The majority of your work will be indoors, but expect to briefly step outside for tasks like merchandise receiving or carry-outs. This role requires physical stamina, including bending, kneeling, and lifting as necessary (up to 50 pounds). A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is a must.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $22.00
Start Rate: $19.18
