About the Role

Join us as a Board Trustee and become part of a transformative journey in gifted education. We are seeking passionate and visionary individuals to strengthen our Board of Trustees during a pivotal period of growth. Your role will be essential in shaping our mission, amplifying our impact, and creating a lasting legacy.

Collaborating closely with the Head of School, you will be instrumental in the rollout of strategic plans aimed at our growth and facilities development. Your guidance will help maintain the integrity of our mission, ensure ongoing financial stability, and provide key leadership and oversight. We prefer candidates with a minimum of 10 years in nonprofit leadership or board roles, along with a dedicated commitment to making a significant annual financial contribution. A strategic and proactive governance approach is essential.

We are looking for individuals who are bold, intellectually curious, and willing to challenge conventional thinking in a constructive manner. This role requires a commitment of 20-30 hours each quarter, including attending board meetings, participating in committees, and being actively involved in fundraising events. While proximity to the Greater Philadelphia area is preferred, we encourage candidates from other regions who are committed and possess strong networking abilities to apply.
