Role Summary:

As a vital member of Cinemark's team, you will play an essential role in fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere for our Guests. You'll be knowledgeable about movies and events, ensuring accurate information is conveyed while providing a top-tier guest experience. Team Members take on various roles, including Usher, Box Office, or Concessionist, based on staffing needs. You'll be trained in essential job functions across these positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet Guests with a friendly smile in a professional and timely manner.

  • Efficiently operate Cinemark's POS system during transactions at your assigned register.

  • Check tickets at the podium and guide Guests to the correct auditorium.

  • Sell tickets in compliance with the MPAA rating system and company policies.

  • Provide comprehensive information on pricing, movies, special events, and general theatre details.

  • Conduct phone interactions with Guests, answering questions in a courteous and helpful manner.

  • Conduct inspections throughout the theatre to ensure optimal movie presentation and sound quality.

  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including the lobby, auditoriums, and restrooms.

  • Prepare food items and utilize cooking, warming, and popping equipment appropriately.

  • Regularly sanitize high-contact areas for both Employees and Guests.

  • Adhere to local, state, and federal food safety regulations.

  • Monitor safety and security, reporting any concerns to management.

  • Assist with various opening and closing tasks as assigned by management.

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.

  • Complete basic food handling training and obtain any necessary local or state certifications.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Consistent attendance is essential.

  • Maintain a positive, energetic, and friendly demeanor throughout each shift.

  • Deliver exceptional Guest service consistently.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently.

  • Follow directions accurately and respond promptly to tasks.

  • Possess basic math skills and execute accurate cash handling.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.

  • Regular standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theatre.

  • Noise levels may vary from moderate to high.

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
