We are looking for our first commercial hire to build and lead our entire commercial function from the ground up. This is a "player‑coach" role where you will initially be the player—the primary salesperson, strategist, and voice of the customer. You won't be inheriting a team or a playbook; you will be the one to create them.

• Be the entire sales team. You will personally own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing our foundational customers.
• Build on and extend the existing GTM‑strategy. You'll partner directly with the founder to develop and execute our initial go‑to‑market strategy, defining our pricing, positioning, and target segments.
• Create the sales playbook. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the first scalable sales processes, systems, and best practices for the company.
• Be the voice of the customer. You'll collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to provide direct market feedback, ensuring our product roadmap is aligned with customer needs.
• Lay the foundation for a team. While your initial focus is on execution, you will be responsible for creating the strategy to build and lead a high‑velocity sales team over time.

We look for:

• Proven track record selling into pharmas, biotechs and real world data companies, with a history of exceeding targets.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing sales teams.
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on execution.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; ability to orchestrate large‑value transactions with C‑level customer executives.
