Job Summary
The Strategic Sourcing Manager, Store Operations & Facilities will lead enterprise-level strategic sourcing initiatives in support of our client's Store Operations and Facilities teams across the U.S. and Canada. This role is responsible for managing multiple concurrent RFPs, developing category strategies, and leading end-to-end sourcing engagements for indirect spend categories.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, a strong track record of leading complex RFPs, and hands-on expertise in indirect sourcing and contract negotiation. Experience within retail and/or beauty is strongly preferred. This role focuses on sourcing and supplier strategy—not production.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing – Marketing & Retail Experience, this individual will drive measurable value through cost savings, risk mitigation, supplier performance, and alignment with our client's goals around diversity, sustainability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of the end-to-end strategic sourcing process (7-step sourcing methodology) for assigned categories and projects
Independently manage and lead multiple concurrent RFPs/RFIs/RFQs using sourcing technology (Coupa preferred)
Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and sourcing strategies
Analyze supplier markets, evaluate proposals, and develop data-driven recommendations
Lead supplier negotiations and finalize commercial terms
Prepare executive-ready presentations and lead award recommendations
Ensure smooth handoff of awarded business to stakeholders to support long-term supplier success
Experience wth sourcing indirect suppliers and services.
Serve as the sourcing lead for assigned contracts, supporting stakeholders through the Intake-to-Contract process
Lead commercial negotiations for enterprise agreements, including MSAs and SOWs
Summarize negotiation outcomes in deal summaries and facilitate senior leadership approvals
Partner with Legal, Finance, and stakeholders to ensure contracts are executed efficiently and compliantly
Develop and maintain comprehensive category strategies for assigned indirect spend areas (including store supplies, services, asset protection, and facilities-related goods and services)
Build and manage multi-year sourcing roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders
Leverage spend data, contract expirations, and market insights to inform sourcing priorities
Support the Director of Strategic Sourcing with broader category initiatives across Retail Operations and Facilities
Identify and execute leverage opportunities across departments, U.S. and Canada, our client Global, and LVMH to reduce total cost of ownership
Build strong, trusted relationships by delivering against plans and communicating clearly and proactively
Drive adherence to sourcing processes, governance, and systems
Support our client's objectives related to supplier diversity, sustainability, and risk management
Working Conditions
Hybrid work environment: on-site 2 days per week
Primarily sedentary work with occasional movement for meetings and collaboration
Ability to travel as required
Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading end-to-end strategic sourcing engagements
Proven experience managing multiple RFPs simultaneously
Strong background in indirect sourcing across goods and services
Experience sourcing for retail store operations and/or facilities strongly preferred
Retail and/or beauty industry experience preferred
Coupa (or similar e-sourcing platform) experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Competencies & Skills
Proven expertise negotiating enterprise-level contracts (MSAs, SOWs, service agreements)
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership
Demonstrated track record of cost savings, value creation, and productivity improvements
Excellent project and timeline management skills across complex sourcing initiatives
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, and sourcing tools
Hands-on experience with procurement technologies including e-RFX, P2P, vendor management, savings tracking, and contract lifecycle management systems
