Leasing Consultant - Deer Creek Apartments, San Ramon

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the face of our community, guiding prospective residents through every step of the leasing process. Delivering exceptional customer experience and implementing effective marketing strategies. This role combines sales, relationship-building, and problem-solving to ensure residents feel at home from the very first interaction. Your success will directly contribute to the growth and profitability of our property portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property tours and highlight available units to prospective residents.
  • Ensuring that curb appeal is well-maintained for potential and current residents.
  • Assist in the leasing process by preparing lease agreements and ensuring compliance with company policies and local and state laws.
  • Maintain relationships with current residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assists residents with service requests, maintenance emergencies and contact proper personnel as needed.
  • Scheduling Pre-Move in and out inspections.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract potential residents and increase property visibility.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure the community is well-maintained and meets resident expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant communications, and occupancy status using property management software.
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are ready for occupancy.
  • Follow up with prospective tenants to answer questions and encourage lease signings.
  • Stay informed about local market conditions and competitor offerings to effectively position the property:
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year experience in sales and/or customer service related industries.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as leases, addendums to leases, pertinent move-in/move-out paperwork and various notices to residents such as Notice to Comply. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills. Can interface with people in a variety of mediums.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and responsive demeanor, using good judgment and initiative.
  • Must possess effective problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail in paperwork processing.
