SUPERVISOR: Area Coach (AC), Director of Operations (DO)

STATUS: Non-Exempt

BASIC PURPOSE:

The General Manager is a pivotal mentor who guides their team towards success, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional customer experience. You will play a key role in achieving maximum profitability for the restaurant through strategic recruitment, ongoing training, and the delivery of quality food. This position is essential for fostering a company culture aligned with DRG's values.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team Development: Identify and nurture high-potential team members, empowering them to lead and thrive in their roles.
  • Operational Excellence: Focus on delivering top-notch customer service, maintaining immaculate restaurant environments, and achieving strong financial performance.
  • P&L Management: Drive financial success by managing costs effectively to maximize profitability.
  • Leadership: Make sound decisions while acting as a liaison between upper management and the team, always upholding an open-door policy.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of restaurant experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Must be proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
  • Successful completion of the SERV Safe Certification Course and Exam; maintain current health card as per local/state requirements.
  • This position requires an average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
