Description:

We are seeking a sharp, high-impact Executive Assistant to join the Office of the Co-Founders at a leading venture capital firm. This is a rare opportunity to step into the Founders Office environment, working in close partnership with two senior EAs to support the Co-Founders and the world around them. The ideal candidate will work out of the San Francisco office, but DC will also be considered.

This role is designed to relieve and rebalance two extremely high-velocity desks. You will operate in lockstep with the senior EAs, helping to deliver seamless, round-the-clock support across business and personal priorities. The ideal candidate is high-EQ, fast on their feet, deeply professional, and brings a white-glove service mindset. This is not a role that's best suited for a traditional EA to CEO profilewe are open to candidates from operations, hospitality, talent agencies, or other high-touch, high-pressure environments who have the instincts, polish, and pace to thrive here.

This is a founders office. The bar is high. Presence, judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence must be exceptional.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner closely with two senior Executive Assistants to support the Co-Founders in all aspects of their professional and personal worlds
  • Own high-volume, high-stakes inbox management
  • Coordinate sophisticated domestic and international travel, including constant last-minute changes (private aviation experience is a major bonus)
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact, handling time-sensitive matters with tact and precision
  • Prepare materials, gather information, and track follow-through on key initiatives
  • Anticipate needs, flag conflicts, and proactively solve problems before they surface
  • Operate with total discretion across confidential business and personal matters
  • Communicate primarily via WhatsApp and other real-time tools in a fast-moving environment
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 815 years of experience in EA, Operations, or adjacent high-pressure roles
  • Exceptionally high EQ, judgment, and professionalism (10/10 bar)
  • Calm under pressure; thrives in fast-moving, high-stakes environments
  • 24/7 mindset and willing to provide around the clock support with a team of EAs
  • Logistical master, able to handle a web of moving pieces and create order
  • Warm, boundaried, clear communicatorcordial, not overly chatty
  • White-glove service mindset; hospitality or high-touch backgrounds highly valued
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and proactive
  • Technically fluent with modern productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack/WhatsApp, Zoom, etc.)
  • Trusted, discreet, and able to pass an in-depth background check with impeccable references
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Must have exceptional references and clean background check
Compensation

200-225K hourly based on a 40 hour work week + OT, PTO, full benefits package, pooled carry

Schedule

Monday - Friday in office, but 24/7 availability required
