Legal Operations Associate

Description:

We're looking for a Legal Operations Associate to join our growing teamat Lighthouse. In this role, you'll work to make U.S. visa preparationfast, accessible, and an exceptional experience for the world's best andbrightest in the startup and technology industry.

  • You have strong writing skills coupled with attention to detail.
  • Have high agency, especially for independent research.
  • Want to learn how to design and use new AI-enabled technologyproducts.
  • You have experience working in fast paced environments.
  • You will succeed in this role if you're curious about founders,startups, and technology in areas undergoing major transformationlike artificial intelligence, robotics, biotech, manufacturing,aerospace, and more and a service focus.

We do not expect candidates for this role to have previousimmigration experience or a legal background. Previous startupexperience is welcome, but we are most interested in someone who candemonstrate the requisite skills.

What we'll trust you to do:

Your primary focus will be supporting our customers' visa applicationjourneys, including:

  • Preparing and managing multiple visa applications simultaneously we'll expect excellent project management skills.
  • Conducting detailed document reviews and providing guidance to customers on process challenges.
  • Collaborating with customers to gather necessary information anddocumentation, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
  • Identifying potential process challenges early and proposing solutions to keep application preparation processes moving forward.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our document preparationplatform and internal processes based on customer feedback andoperational insights.
  • Maintaining detailed records and tracking application progress throughour software platform for our customers.
