We Are TSX ChallengeTSX Challenge leads purposefully difficult, deeply rewarding backpacking expeditions. These are not casual treks. Our experiences are designed to push participants beyond their perceived limits through expert leadership, rigorous teamwork, and attentive care. From beginners to advanced trekkers, we provide access to the worlds most remote wilderness areas, facilitating one-of-a-kind, unplugged journeys that require passionate and deeply engaged guides. Leaders WantedWe are looking for leaders to guide our High Sierra and Grand Canyon backpacking treks during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. We spend Spring and Fall in the Grand Canyon, and Summers in the High Sierra. The ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable, individual with strong work ethic who loves the wilderness, and solving wilderness problems, and can be kind, patient, and motivating with people of all experience levels. Our strongest guides are experienced backpackers who already have another primary job or career and are looking to lead a handful of meaningful trips each year. Most guides work 28 trips annually, though some choose to lead more. You are a fit if:You thrive in group settings and enjoy helping others succeed.You remain calm, positive, and decisive during long, demanding days.You are a storyteller who can share your passion with diverse groups.You understand that being a guide means being the first one up and the last one to sleep, and you know your way around a camp stove.
