We want you to view your time at Westfall as an investment in your future./ppWe are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician./ppSalary/Shift: $80,000-$100,000 annually/Day Shift/ppJob Overview/ppThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures production equipment operates safely and efficiently to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Technician must be skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems./ppKey Responsibilities/ppEquipment Maintenance and Repair/polliPerform corrective and preventative maintenance on production machinery, tools, and facility systems (e.g., HVAC, compressors, electrical panels)./liliDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and schematics./liliRepair or replace defective components, including motors, bearings, belts, sensors, pumps, valves, and wiring./liliPerform welding, fabrication, or machining when necessary for equipment repair or modification/li/olpPreventive Maintenance (PM)/polliExecute scheduled PM tasks according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications./liliDocument all maintenance and service activities accurately in maintenance logs or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)./liliIdentify trends in equipment failure and recommend long-term solutions./li/olpFacility Support/polliSupport building and utility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems./liliRespond promptly to facility maintenance requests and ensure safety compliance./liliAssist in plant or equipment upgrades, installations, and relocations./li/olpSafety and Compliance/polliFollow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures during maintenance activities./liliLockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures must be followed during repair or servicing of machinery./liliMaintain a clean and organized work area, including the maintenance shop and spare parts inventory./liliReport unsafe conditions, worn equipment, or potential hazards immediately./li/olpContinuous Improvement/polliProvide input for equipment upgrades and improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency./liliParticipate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action teams to eliminate chronic maintenance issues./liliSupport kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives within the maintenance function./li/olpEducation/Experience Requirements/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred./lili5+ years of experience repairing plastic injection machines(disassembling, assembling, repairing electrical/electronic systems, repair of pneumatic/hydraulic systems of machines, barrel cleaning/replacing, calibrations.)/lili3+ years repairing auxiliary equipment(material dryers, water heaters, injection molding robots, hydraulic pumps, etc)/liliExperience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, PLCs, and other diagnostic equipment./liliAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals./liliFamiliarity with CMMS systems is a plus./liliStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities./liliExcellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks./liliTeam player with strong communication skills./liliAbility to work independently under minimal supervision./liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs./liliProlonged standing, climbing, bending, and working in tight spaces./liliComfortable working at heights or in varying temperatures depending on facility conditions./li/ulpWork Environment/ppThe work environment is usually in an office within a manufacturing facility with low to moderate noise level.
