Inbound & Outbound Shipping Coordinator - $28-$29/hr (Onsite, San Leandro, CA)

Weekly Pay + Benefits | 3-6 Month Contract (Potential Extension or Conversion)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inbound & Outbound Shipping Coordinator to support daily warehouse shipping and receiving operations. This role plays a critical part in keeping products moving efficiently and compliantly-handling everything from inbound receipts to outbound domestic and international shipments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments and deliveries
• Prepare, package, and coordinate outbound domestic and international shipments
• Generate shipping labels, update tracking, and follow routing instructions using UPS WorldShip
• Coordinate freight movement with internal teams and external carriers
• Complete customs documentation and required paperwork following established guidelines
• Research and apply HTS classifications using internal tools, SOPs, and reference materials
• Maintain accurate shipment records, inventory receipts, and compliance documentation
• Follow international import/export regulations and internal policies
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safety-compliant
• Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs as needed
• Support general warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned

What You Bring

• Ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs
• Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes, including international shipments
• Familiarity with UPS WorldShip and shipping software systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with documentation and data entry
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a task-driven, fast-paced environment
• Exposure to HTS codes, tariff classifications, or import/export procedures is a plus
• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution setting preferred
