Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should possess the following:

  • Master's degree or higher in Economics, Applied Economics, or a closely related quantitative field
  • A minimum of 4 years of full-time professional teaching or research experience in economics
  • Proficiency in econometric software and quantitative research methods
  • Experience in published research or policy analysis (preferred)
  • Fluency in English
  • Residing in the United States or Canada
  • Access to a computer with stable internet and video conferencing capabilities
  • Comfortable with remote work tools (messaging, video calls, uploading documents)
  • Able to work independently and follow written instructions

What You'll Do
In this role, you will:

  • Share your professional journey, research interests, and teaching philosophy
  • Define field-specific evaluation criteria utilized in economics faculty hiring and research assessment
  • Document at least one significant research project, course innovation, or policy analysis, including context, methodology, challenges, and outcomes
  • Participate in brief feedback or calibration sessions as needed

Compensation & Logistics
This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $55 to $85 per hour, commensurate with experience, along with bonuses for key contributions. Your engagement will start with a paid trial period, and you will be compensated every two weeks based on approved and tracked hours. Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote and asynchronous work environment, allowing you to work at your own pace within flexible deadlines. Location: United States or Canada.
