divh2Custodial Position/h2pThis position reports to the Custodial Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for the general cleanliness of the museum. Applicants must be available to work any assigned shifts and be able to work overtime./ppEssential Functions:/pulliProper operation of custodial equipment including but not limited to: floor machines, mops, floor, wall, window squeegees, ladders, step stools, scissor lift, fork lift/liliBasic understanding of safety issues and adherence to safety standards related to custodial work including safety equipment for personal safety, building occupant safety, and public safety/liliClean and maintain all custodial stations: classrooms, office space, restrooms, entrance ways, work spaces, parking lots, and food service areas including collecting trash, dusting, sweeping, shampooing, refilling supplies, and cleaning and disinfecting/liliUse custodial equipment to carry out job responsibilities/liliRespond quickly to custodial messages/liliAdditional custodial duties as required/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulli6 months custodial experience and/or successful completion of basic custodial training/liliAbility to read, write, and follow simple oral and written instructions/li/ulpPhysical Requirement:/pulliAbility to lift and carry 35 lbs/liliAbility to push and pull 50 lbs/liliAbility to bend and kneel, reach, move from place to place, twist at the waist/liliAbility to climb and work on ladders/li/ulpApplication Deadline:/ppThis position is open until filled/ppHow To Apply:/ppThis is an on-call (variable hours) position that does not include benefits.
