To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this posiiton

This is an on-site position. Work will be Monday - Friday. Shifts will be 8.5 hours long and can start between 6:45 AM and 9:30 AM, and end between 3:15 PM and 6:00 PM

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic individual to enhance our patient services. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every patient interaction is smooth and supportive. You will manage critical administrative functions that underpin our daily operations, directly impacting patient satisfaction and the efficiency of our clinical teams. Your ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with grace and precision will be key to your success and our collective impact.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly and assisting with inquiries regarding appointments, payments, and schedules.
* Manage a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, taking messages for clinical staff and providers, and ensuring timely communication.
* Confirm patient verifications and authorizations are complete prior to appointments.
* Liaise with providers to align on scheduling preferences and facilitate responses to urgent patient needs.
* Offer comprehensive patient support using established reference documents and tools.
* Execute diverse administrative tasks, including maintaining essential information databases and processing internal forms.
* Proficiently utilize telephone systems and electronic medical records systems for all assigned duties.
* Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards.
* Address non-clinical patient inquiries and messages, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
* Handle the management and distribution of faxes, mail, and clinic-specific documentation.

**Required Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or GED.
* Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
* Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
* Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service, solve problems efficiently, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
* Strong understanding of Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to adjust communication style to meet the needs and understanding of others.
* Capacity to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.
* Strong customer service abilities, multitasking skills, and the capacity to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28.25 to $39.79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
