Overview

We're looking for a versatile hospitality professional who can juggle customer service, reception, concierge, barista, mixology, logistics and more. You will be a citizenM ambassador, free to be yourself to deliver the best possible experience for guests.

Typical CitizenM Shift

• Morning
• Evening

Morning: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Availability to work weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Make sure everyone gets a warm welcome as soon as they walk in
• Help guests at the self check-in kiosks (there is no reception desk)
• Prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast and meals
• Be a kitchen helper — dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, food handling and cooking
• Brew coffee or mix a signature cocktail
• Act as a secret concierge to the city—answer guests' questions about places to visit, eat, shop or party
• Maintain the living room and the canteen clean, and arrange food displays for the following shift
• Assist guests with requests regarding facilities (may gain new tech skills)
• Handle reservations in the property management system (PMS)
• Prepare societyM meeting rooms where applicable

Qualifications

• A genuine touch: Treat all people as you would treat your best friends
• A passionate attitude: Be collaborative, optimistic and spread good vibes
• Fluent in English; other language abilities are welcome
• A United States citizen or have authorization to work in the United States (visa/work permits not facilitated)
• Able to travel for training; see list of acceptable identification documents for travel in the US
