Responsibilities Automotive Service Manager:

• Oversee all service department operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Manage and motivate a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work meets manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
• Monitor financial and performance metrics, including service sales, gross profit, and CSI scores.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve service department goals and improve customer retention.
• Maintain accurate scheduling, repair orders, and documentation processes.
• Collaborate with Parts and Sales departments to streamline operations and communication.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members to support continuous growth and professional development.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution and satisfaction.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and ethical business practices at all times.

Qualifications / Requirements Automotive Service Manager:

• Minimum 3 5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager in a dealership or high-volume repair facility.
• Proven leadership, team-building, and performance management skills.
• Strong knowledge of automotive service operations, warranties, and repair processes.
• Experience with dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds, ADP, or similar) preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
