SSP is searching for a Task Force Convention Services Manager, local or within commuting distance to Nob Hill, San Francisco. This is a 100% Task Force travel position

Join Strategic Solution Partners (SSP) as a Task Force Consultant and play a critical role in maintaining smooth hotel operations during management vacancies. This role is perfect for energized individuals who enjoy assisting and offering support during gaps in specialized management positions at the property. Assignments include, but are not limited to hotel openings, management transitions, and property re-positioning. Taskforce consultant will be on site for the duration of the assignment and will be afforded a trip home every two to three weeks.

  • Manage and service sales accounts for specified market segments to achieve guest satisfaction.
  • Assimilate and organize information quickly to execute proactive sales functions

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Delphi FDC, Opera and CVENT
  • A minimum of 5 years of RECENT successful hotel Convention Services Management experience
  • Serve as the primary on-property liaison for group and convention clients from contract turnover through program departure.
  • Manage all aspects of group logistics, including meeting space setup, audio-visual coordination, banquet event orders (BEOs), and event timelines.
  • Conduct pre-convention meetings to confirm program details, expectations, and service requirements with clients and internal teams.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Catering, Banquets, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and AV to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Monitor on-site group activity, proactively address client needs, and resolve service issues in real time.
