Job Title: IT Business Manager

Job Description: The IT Business Manager at TRI plays a pivotal role in managing IT systems and platforms, overseeing communication channels, and ensuring smooth operations for ten teams of volunteer interns working as UX-UI Prototypers, Unity and Full Stack Developers, 3D Modelers, Architectural Renderers, to create Think Round's Virtual Center for the Human Family. This role involves controlling access to critical platforms like GitHub, Discord, and Think Round's website while providing technical support and guidance to team leads and interns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage access permissions for interns on GitHub, Discord, and the organization's website.
  2. Manage Discord, GitHub repositories, and website, working closely with administrative teams.
  3. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for intern teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  4. Collaborate with the Executive Director and stakeholders to align IT initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
  5. Develop and implement IT strategies to enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity among intern teams.
  6. Monitor and maintain different platforms and tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT management, project management, and communication tools.
  8. Train and onboard new interns and team leads on IT systems and protocols.
  9. Maintain the list of interns every week as new ones come and others go.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience, including school project experience.
  • Proven experience in IT management, project management, and team coordination.
  • Basic technical skills in platforms like GitHub, Discord, and website management tools.

  • 1 year of equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
