ABOUT THE ROLE
Seneca's School Partnership Programs is hiring for a Student Support Assistant to guide grades 9-12th to success at City Arts and Leadership (CAL) Academy in San Francisco, CA in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. As a Student Support Assistant you will make a positive impact on transforming the lives of students with emotional and behavioral challenges. In addition, you will promote academic growth and nurture social-emotional well-being.
ABOUT THE UE WEST BAY PROGRAM
Seneca's Unconditional Education West Bay Program partners with 8+ schools in San Francisco Unified School District and Public Charter Schools to implement elements of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).Our team is comprised of School Climate Specialists, School-Based Therapists, and Student Support Assistants. Our staff implement strategies that range from creating, implementing and monitoring trauma-informed school-wide systems to individualized therapy and targeted behavioral support for students with the highest levels of need.
