Pay Rate: $40 - $48 per hour

Position Summary

The Operations Data Analyst (Senior-level) reports to the Manager of Smart Meter Programs. This role is responsible for extracting data, developing actionable insights, and supporting leadership initiatives through advanced analysis. The analyst will respond to ad hoc data requests and maintain operational tools and databases using data from multiple internal systems.

This position partners closely with accounting, program management, resource planning, field operations, and IT teams to deliver data-driven business solutions, automate workflows, and support project success across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and optimize ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Design and maintain complex automated data routines for reporting and data delivery, ensuring accurate data cleansing and transformation
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports used by multiple business units
  • Perform root cause analysis with a strong debugger mindset to resolve data and system issues
  • Translate technical issues and findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Assist with database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
  • Support data integrity, data quality, and data governance initiatives
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for knowledge sharing and compliance

Additional Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)

  • With manager approval, a pre-determined monthly stipend for cell phone and internet may be expensed
