Century Group's client is seeking a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting with payroll-related tasks. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $38 per hour.

Job Description:

• Review and code incoming invoices.
  
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoice data.
  
• Process manual check requests as needed.
  
• Review and run checks for approved invoices.
  
• Track payments to online vendors.
  
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  
• Maintain employee information in the Paylocity payroll system.
  
• Process hourly payroll weekly and salary payroll biweekly.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related roles.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
