JOB SUMMARY:

The Recruiter is responsible for identifying, interviewing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for all PSI clients. The Recruiter's focus is placed on becoming an industry expert in technology and becoming a specialist in certain industries such as healthcare, information technology, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Source candidates for different types of employment requirements (Direct Hire, Contract, Contract to Hire, Corp to Corp)
  • Identify qualified candidates by utilizing various methods, tools, and creative recruiting tactics.
  • Pursue passive and active candidates via Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.
  • Conduct candidate screenings (phone screens, interviews, reference checks, skills verification, etc.)
  • Negotiate wage rates and other terms/conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment to current and future job requirements
  • Assist candidates with drafting resumes and coordinating candidate contact throughout various stages of the interview process
  • Coaching and preparing for interviews with clients based on specific knowledge of the client and the position
  • Become proficient in utilizing different vendor management systems
  • Maintain excellent documentation with the company's Applicant Tracking System
  • Onboard new hires by completing new-hire paperwork and following appropriate procedures for compliance with PSI policy and Department of Labor Laws
  • Partake in candidate engagement and retention: onboarding, performance evaluations, check-ins, and constant follow-ups
  • Communicate effectively with others to create a productive and diverse environment
  • Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting best practices
  • Maintain relationships with industry contacts to gain industry knowledge, identify candidate referrals, and create future business opportunities by obtaining sales leads
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or related
  • 2+ years experience working in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting/HR - preferred
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition solutions such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, etc.
  • MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Experience working with 3rd party agencies preferred
  • Applicant Tracking Systems experience
  • Vendor Management Systems experience
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Some experience recruiting IT professionals for technical roles
  • Experience recruiting for creative roles such as Graphic Designer
