divh2Operating Room Equipment Technician/h2pUnder the direct supervision of the department manager or designee, cleans and maintains operating room equipment in collaboration with Bio Medical Engineering./ppEssential Responsibilities:/pulliReviews operating room schedule in advance to avoid equipment conflicts./liliSets up and checks equipment for cleanliness and functionality prior to use./liliDons personal protective equipment when necessary./liliTests equipment prior to return to location of origin./liliNotify Bio Medical Engineering and Manager in a timely manner when repair is needed./liliCoordinate instrumentation and equipment reports with appropriate services or company representatives./liliEducate staff on equipment use./liliWork with management staff and service leads in ordering equipment and instruments./liliProblem solve equipment issues in collaboration with manager and Bio Medical Engineering./li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/ppExperience: Two (2) years experience with Operating Room instrumentation and equipment. Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively in writing. Basic computer skills Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization. Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
