Prime Video is a first?stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports including Amazon MGM Studios?produced series and movies, licensed fan favorites, and programming from Prime Video add?on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll, and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store and can enjoy additional content for free with ads.

Were looking for a talented Senior Manager of Product Management Tech with Personalization and Recommendations experience to help deliver superior experiences to Prime Video customers worldwide on the Prime Video Personalization & Discovery team. You will own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision, develop product roadmaps, and work cross?functionally with engineering, science, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to optimize the Prime Video Personalization & Discovery customer experience.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have thrived and succeeded in hiring and developing great teams and delivering broadly adopted technology products or services in a high?growth environment. You should be a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence. You should have keen business sense and a deep understanding of technology.

Qualified candidates have experience defining products, mapping requirements to engineering functional specifications, leading large cross?functional and cross?organizational efforts, and successfully delivering complex products and services at high scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of team management experience
  • 2+ years of end?to?end product delivery experience
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high?growth environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign?on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
